Cookies and storage
Short version: this website sets no tracking cookies. It remembers your display choices, on your device, and that is all.
In short
- entrywick.com stores your theme and accessibility settings in local storage, on your device, and reads nothing else.
- There are no analytics, advertising or social-media cookies. The privacy panel exists so that if we ever add an optional service you decide first.
- The EntryWick product uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in and a CSRF token to protect forms.
- The scanner app stores the roster and pending scans on the phone so it works offline; a revoked phone forgets them.
Contents
1. This website
| Name | Kind | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| entrywick-theme | Local storage | Light or dark mode | Until you clear it |
| entrywick-accessibility | Local storage | Text size, contrast, spacing and other reading preferences from the accessibility panel | Until you clear it |
| entrywick-consent | Local storage | Your choices in the privacy panel | Until you clear it |
None of these is sent to us; they live in your browser. Clearing site data in your browser removes them.
2. The EntryWick service
| Name | Kind | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| entrywick_session | Cookie · strictly necessary | Keeps a signed-in team member signed in | Session, or longer if you choose "remember me" |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Cookie · strictly necessary | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery | Session |
| Registrant pages | None | Public event pages, registration forms, ticket pages and "My registration" set no cookies; access is by signed link | — |
3. The scanner app
After pairing, the phone stores the event roster, its pairing, and scans waiting to upload, so it works with no signal. Revoking the device makes it upload what it can, then delete all of it. Nothing is shared with other apps.
4. Optional services
There are none today. If we ever add one (for example, an optional video embed), it will be off until you turn it on in the privacy panel, and this page will list it. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal: when your browser sends it, marketing is off regardless.
5. Your control
Open the privacy panel from the footer ("Manage privacy choices") to review or change choices. Your browser's settings let you block or clear storage at any time; the site works without it, apart from remembering your preferences.
